Zellous Hope Project started as a grassroots community-based program called the Hope Project with $500 of seed money in 2011. The two-time Jefferson Award winning Program has grown into a nonprofit organization that engages hundreds of individuals and families, which includes single parents, the homeless, and underemployed on their road to a better living. Zellous Hope Project Provides: Peer to Peer support, Emergency Stabilization Funds, A Diaper Bank for children and Adults, Female Hygiene Product, as well as an Annual X-mas Toy Give Away and an Annual Community Day and Community Dance. Zellous Hope also Host a Community Engagement Forum call Voices of the Community that invites Guest of the Community and surrounding areas that are contributing to the growth of McKees Rocks to engage, educate and empower the members of the Community.
